Today I’d like to share my knowledge about English language.

The topic is:

HOW DO YOU …?

This pattern of question will make your mind think fast.

You can use these to complete the questions:

1. do
2. do you come here
3. sleep
4. clean your teeth
5. spell your name

So you will have five  questions. They are:

1. How do you do? (Apa kabar?)
2. How do you come here? (Kamu ke sini naik apa?)
3. How do you sleep? (Bagaimana kamu tidur?)
4. How do you clean your teeth? (Bagaimana kamu membersihkan gigi?)
5. How do you spell your name? (Bagaimana kamu mengeja namamu?)

You can add more.

Now … how to answer the questions?

1. How do you do? The answer is “How do you do?”

(Kita gunakan ini untuk orang yang baru dikenal)

2. How do you come here? The answer is “I come here by walking”

(Kata Walking boleh diganti dengan nama kendaraan seperti bicycle, motorcycle, car, train, plane, dll.)

3. How do you sleep? The answer is “I sleep by closing my eyes”

(By closing my eyes boleh diganti misalnya dengan by lying on my bed, on my bed, hugging a bolster, dll.)

4. How do you clean your teeth? The answer is “I clean my teeth by using toothbrush and toothpaste.”
5. How do you spell your name? The answer is “em  yu  ar  es  ei  el  ai  em”

(em  yu  ar  es  ei  el  ai  em = MURSALIM)

To make this lesson interesting, ask a question and the student must answer it without any pause. (Agar pelajaran ini menarik, ajukan satu pertanyaan dan siswa harus menjawabnya tanpa ada jeda.)

For example:

You: How do you do?

Student: How … do you do?

This is wrong. No pause, remember? (Ini salah. Tidak ada jeda, ingat?)

The student should say (Seharusnya siswa menjawab): “How do you do?”
